Source @smashx_60 shared a tweet on X platform yesterday (September 2nd) revealing new renderings of the HMD Hyper smartphone, showcasing four new colors and some specification details. HMD Hyper is said to be the successor to the Nokia X30 (launched in 2022), and its design closely resembles the recently launched HMDSkyline, blending curves and sharp edges.
Apart from the previously leaked yellow color, the renderings also reveal green, red, and grey variants. According to the leaked information, the device might feature a metal frame and a glass back panel.
IT Home previously reported that the HMD Hyper will be equipped with a 6.55-inch OLED screen (FHD+ 120Hz). A new feature is the 50-megapixel front camera that supports autofocus and FHD video recording. This upcoming mid-range phone will once again be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen1 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (expandable).
The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel main camera (with OIS), a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The HMD Hyper is also anticipated to feature a 4700mAh battery with 33W charging, IP54 water resistance, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and NFC connectivity.
