Today, Zhou Yibao, Product Director of OPPO Find series, revealed that the OPPO Find X8 series will feature the Glacier Battery across the entire lineup. This battery technology, first introduced in the OnePlus Ace3 Pro, utilizes a new generation of silicon-carbon anode battery technology. Compared to traditional graphite anode batteries, it significantly increases the lithium-ion content in the battery, boosting the energy density to an industry-leading 763Wh/L. Furthermore, it achieves the highest 6% silicon-carbon content in the anode, currently in the industry. This translates to exceptional battery life for the Find X8 series.
Beyond the Glacier Battery technology, OPPO has forged a deep partnership with CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited), a leading battery manufacturer. Together, they have established a battery technology cooperation plan spanning the next 1-3 years, laying a solid foundation for the Find X8 series' battery performance.
As OPPO's most aggressive high-end flagship, the Find X8 series will be equipped with two flagship-level chipsets: the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen4.
