Zhou Yi'bao, Head of OPPO Find Series Products, announced last night, "We have concluded our exchange with CATL regarding battery technology, and together we have established a blueprint for new battery technology collaborations in the next 1-3 years." Zhou Yi'bao revealed that the entire OPPO Find X8 series will feature "Glacier Battery," promising a significant upgrade in battery life. He also mentioned that many of the new technologies developed in the workshop cannot be disclosed publicly due to their confidential nature.

OnePlus claims that the Glacier Battery boasts the highest industry capacity for silicon-carbon anode batteries, reaching 6100mAh. Compared to a standard 5000mAh graphite battery, OnePlus Glacier Battery offers a 1100mAh increase in capacity while reducing its size by 3%.
OnePlus Glacier Battery utilizes a proprietary "high-capacity biomimetic silicon-carbon material" with "low-expansion second-generation silicon" integrated into the material. This achieves an industry-leading 6% silicon-carbon content in the anode. The silicon-carbon anode boasts a gravimetric capacity of 426mAh/g, a 20% increase over the 355mAh/g of typical graphite anodes. The energy density reaches 763Wh/L.
