OPPO Find X8 Series Gears Up for Launch: Glacial Battery, Three Versions, and a Fresh Design
OPPO recently announced a deep collaboration with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) to drive the development of future battery technologies. The partnership will see the integration of the "Glacial Battery" into the upcoming Find X8 series. Notably, the Glacial Battery utilizes silicon-carbon anode technology, significantly increasing lithium-ion content and achieving an industry-leading energy density of 763Wh/L.
The Find X8 series will be available in three versions: Standard, Pro, and Ultra. The Standard and Pro versions will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, while the Ultra version will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. In terms of photography, the Find X8 Ultra will continue the dual periscope telephoto lens setup, equipped with a Hasselblad quad-camera system. The standard Find X8 will adopt a triple-camera combination, featuring a Sony IMX882 mid-telephoto lens.
Leaked images of the Find X8 Standard reveal a square-shaped camera module with slightly rounded corners, showcasing a distinctive visual style. The Find X8 Ultra also undergoes design upgrades with a thinner and lighter body and a less prominent camera module bump. Moreover, the Find X8 Ultra may ditch the leather back for a frosted glass finish.
The Find X8 series' battery technology breakthrough, diverse version options, and innovative design are poised to elevate OPPO's flagship smartphone competitiveness, delivering a superior user experience.
