Starkey Meizu Technology has officially announced that its 2024 AI Ecosystem Launch Event will take place on September 25th at 2:30 PM. According to the official poster, the event will feature several major new products, including the all-new Lucky08 phone, the Starkey Meizu StarVView AR smart glasses, and the first high-energy esports entertainment cockpit (Z10 esports custom edition). Additionally, the poster features a ring-shaped pattern, sparking speculation about a smart ring-like chip, the specifics of which remain unconfirmed by the company.

At the recent "Flyme Star Wish Project" mobile AI sharing conference, Meizu announced the addition of the "attractive and practical" Lucky series to its phone product line. The first phone in this series is named Lucky08, celebrating the successful launch of Starkey Meizu's first "Lucky Star" satellite. Developed by SpaceTime DaoYu, "Lucky Star" will orbit in the third orbit of the Geely Future Travel Constellation, providing Starkey Meizu with "wide coverage and high reliability" communication solutions for smart electric vehicles, smartphones, and XR technologies.

Based on the official pre-launch poster, the Lucky08 phone is expected to feature a large, centrally positioned circular camera module, showcasing a departure from Meizu's previous design style. This aligns with the company's tagline, "Meizu has changed, starting to align with mainstream trends, Meizu hasn't changed, still upholding the love of Meizu fans."

Meizu officials have stated that the Lucky08 will be the first to support FlymeAIOS, offering a range of AI answering features and claiming to be the "benchmark for attractive and practical AI phones in the 2000 yuan range." Among these features, the AI anti-harassment function can "solve harassment calls in the shortest time," instantly resolving/disconnecting from various harassment calls, avoiding lengthy automated dialogue. The automatic call answering function enables intelligent call summary extraction, identifying pending tasks and adding them to notes with a single tap.

On September 5th, Starkey Meizu unveiled its first AR smart glasses, StarVView, at the Lynk & Co launch event. While the configuration and functions of these AR glasses have not yet been disclosed, they can be referenced against the previously released Meizu MYVUAR glasses.

As a point of reference, the Meizu MYVUAR glasses were initially priced at 2499 yuan, featuring a lightweight design weighing only 43g. They are equipped with resin diffractive waveguide lenses, providing a peak brightness of 2000nit. Furthermore, the glasses integrate FlymeAR system, supporting single-click confirmation, double-click back, left swipe to select, right swipe to select, long press to return to desktop, and other operations. Important notifications are instantly displayed, and functionalities like translation, WeChat messaging, navigation, and phone calls are available.

It's worth noting that Starkey Meizu has announced a strategic partnership signing ceremony with BoSheng Eyewear, establishing a deeper collaboration in the field of smart glasses. BoSheng Eyewear will serve as a lens supplier for XR smart glasses, providing consumers of Starkey Meizu brand smart glasses with a seamless online and offline lens experience. The company will also collaborate with Starkey Meizu to launch high-end personalized customized lenses and lens services.

Based on the capabilities of Meizu FlymeLink, which claims to enable seamless interconnectivity between phones, vehicles, and VR smart glasses, future Starkey Meizu chips may introduce even more interactive features.
