With the release of iOS 18.1 beta 4, the iPhone 15 Pro series finally gets Spatial Photo capture. This feature was previously fully available on the iPhone 16 series. Users can simply open the Camera app, select Spatial mode, and rotate their iPhone to landscape mode to choose between recording spatial videos or capturing spatial photos.

Spatial photos create more immersive, 3D images that users can view back using the Apple VisionPro headset. Notably, the official release of visionOS 2 this week allows users to create spatial photos directly from any image in their photo library.

In addition to Spatial Photos, Apple Intelligence is also coming soon in the official release of iOS 18.1, expected in October.
