In an interview, Li Xiaolong, BGCTO of Huawei Terminal, revealed that the idea of a tri-folding screen phone was conceived nine years ago. At the time, the team was contemplating the future form of mobile phones in the next decade. Li Xiaolong believed that phone screens would become larger while the body smaller, and only through folding and refolding could this be achieved. Today, the world's first tri-folding screen phone, MateXT Extraordinary Master, has finally arrived, bringing this bold vision to reality through five years of dedicated development by the team.
