OPPO officially launched its new ColorOS15 operating system at the ODC Developer Conference on October 17th. As the latest generation of OPPO's operating system, ColorOS15 will be compatible with nearly 50 models and is expected to be pushed out to the FindX7 series, FindN3 series, and multiple OnePlus phones first in November 2024. Starting in December, more models such as the FindX6 series, FindN2 series, Reno12 series, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus Ace2 will also receive the upgrade, with full model coverage expected in the first quarter of 2025.

The core goal of ColorOS15 is to deliver a smooth and effortless user experience. To achieve this, it features OPPO's self-developed system-level rendering and drawing architecture Aurora Engine. Aurora Engine has implemented the industry's first interruptible and dynamic animation effect, effectively addressing the issues of animation lag and uneven resource allocation.
