On October 21st, HMD announced a collaboration with Sony Pictures to launch a "Venom"-themed HMD Fusion phone. This limited-edition phone features a "Venom" themed exterior kit based on the standard HMD Fusion. Currently available for pre-order in the United States, it retails for $300.

The phone offers three "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" themed appearances and boasts personalized features infused with "Venom" elements. Upon startup, the phone plays a "We are Venom" welcome message accompanied by thematic animations from the new film. Additionally, the phone contains hidden movie Easter eggs, such as alarm sounds like "Eddie, it's time" and notification tones with Venom shouting, "Who sent that thing?". The phone also features a ringtone with Venom's voice uttering "We're screwed" and a voicemail with "Eddie, I'll be with you until the end."

The phone's design is truly unique. It boasts 160 electromagnetic arrays capable of controlling a Venom-like liquid (ferrofluid). This liquid is housed within a glass container and connects to the phone via six pins on the rear cover. Upon connection, this exterior component transforms the phone's appearance and software, introducing a host of personalized features.
