Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for mobile officially launched on October 22nd, and various smartphone manufacturers have begun hyping up their new devices featuring this top-tier chip. However, recent leaks from digital blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor has an "Ultra High Frequency" version with two large cores running at 4.57GHz, achieving a single-core score of 3400, almost matching the performance of the Apple A18 Pro chip.

This "Ultra High Frequency" version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is expected to be launched next year as a "Leading Edition." The current Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor uses a new Oryon CPU architecture, including two "Super Cores" and six "Performance Cores," each with 12MB of L2 cache, reaching a maximum frequency of 4.32GHz.

Besides its high-performance CPU, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor also integrates the Adreno 750 GPU, supports the latest Bluetooth 5.3 technology and Wi-Fi 7 standards, and features the new Snapdragon X70 5G modem, offering faster network speeds and lower power consumption.

Shortly before this, the official account of the Red Magic 10 Pro series announced the "7 Era New Era" and hinted that the new device will have a 7-inch screen.
