This feature allows the refresh rate to be dynamically adjusted based on screen content, effectively reducing power consumption and enhancing the user experience. Currently, most Android phones support refresh rates exceeding 60Hz. While numerous manufacturers have touted variable refresh rate capabilities, they only offer switching between a few fixed refresh rates like 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz. Moreover, Android systems haven't truly supported this technology until now.

The ARR feature in Android 15 provides a unified approach, enabling devices to adjust the refresh rate within the same display mode.
