Honor CEO Zhao Ming: Looking Forward to a "Collision" Between Magic7 and Huawei Mate70
During a recent livestream event, Honor CEO Zhao Ming discussed the competitive relationship between Huawei Mate70 and Honor. He likened the Honor Magic7 to a "young bull" and expressed his anticipation for a head-on "collision" with Mate70, describing it as a fierce yet positive clash. Previously, Zhao Ming also stated in a media interview that Mate70 is the strongest competitor for all manufacturers and believes it will bring a different kind of excitement to the market.
Zhao Ming emphasized that Honor continues to innovate in areas like AI, eye protection screens, battery life, and photography, aiming to enhance user experience. In his view, competition with the Mate70 series is not just a brand rivalry but also an opportunity to drive technological advancement in the industry. The "collision" between the two flagship phones could become a new focal point in the industry, offering consumers more choices and surprises.
It's reported that the Huawei Mate70 series will be officially released this month. Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of the Terminal BG, and Chairman of the Smart Car Solutions BU, Yu Chengdong, described it as the "strongest Mate ever." This release includes four flagship models: Mate70, Mate70Pro, Mate70Pro+, and Mate70RS Unbound Master.
All models will be equipped with the brand-new native HarmonyOS. Compared to HarmonyOS4, the native HarmonyOS offers a 30% improvement in overall device fluidity, approximately 56 minutes longer battery life, and an average of 1.5GB saved in running memory.
