iPhone SE4 to Launch in March Next Year: Upgraded Performance, Budget-Friendly Price
Following the release of the iPhone 16 series, anticipation for Apple's next generation of mobile devices is high. Recent leaks have provided insights into the upcoming iPhone 17 series and iPhone SE iterations. According to the latest news, the camera module for the iPhone SE4 will begin mass production in December, with the supply chain currently undergoing pre-production testing. This suggests a potential launch date of March next year, aligning with previous leaks.
Reports suggest that the iPhone SE4 will be equipped with an upgraded 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera, but will lack ultra-wide or telephoto lenses. It may promote 2x optical zoom support. Additionally, the device will feature a 6.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1170x2532, offering an increased screen size and enhanced display quality and battery life compared to its predecessor. Performance-wise, the iPhone SE4 will be powered by the same A18 chip found in the iPhone 16 series, coupled with 8GB of RAM and the introduction of Apple Intelligence.
In terms of design, the iPhone SE4 will adopt a similar notch display design to the iPhone 14, integrating FaceID and removing the Home button with TouchID. However, it won't include the Dynamic Island feature. Previously leaked images of protective cases reveal a horizontal arrangement of the rear camera module and flash unit, with an opening visible above the volume control buttons on the side of the device. The purpose of this opening remains unknown.
Despite the design innovations, the iPhone SE4 will maintain its "budget-oriented" positioning, with an anticipated price tag of around 3000 yuan, aligning with the price range of current mid-range devices. Based on current reports, the newest iPhone SE will undergo a comprehensive upgrade in design, core performance, AI capabilities, and more. Interested users can keep an eye out for further updates.
Beyond the iPhone SE4, Apple is poised to release a brand-new iPhone 17 flagship series in the latter half of next year. It is rumored that the iPhone 17 lineup will undergo significant adjustments, eliminating the Plus version and introducing four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Slim, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, catering to diverse user needs. Notably, all four models will feature LTPO panels with variable refresh rates, indicating 120Hz refresh rate support for even standard versions.
