On May 15th, IT Home reported that according to Windows Latest, Windows 10 is getting closer to the end of support, and Microsoft hopes that everyone can start using Windows 11 as soon as possible. After accumulating updates on the Windows 10 system in May 2023, an increasing number of users have noticed that they have seen full screen pop-up ads requesting an upgrade to the latest Windows 11 operating system.

Microsoft is becoming increasingly aggressive in pushing Windows 11, which may be related to the end of the Windows 1021H2 lifecycle. IT Home Note: Windows 1021H2 support will end on June 12th, and Microsoft has reminded users to upgrade to a supported version of Windows.

As part of this event, Microsoft has once again started showcasing Windows 11's "advertisements" on Windows 10. The advertisement that pops up and covers the full screen when the user opens the computer claims that the Windows 11 free upgrade discount has now been unlocked for the device and can be obtained now.

When users refuse or attempt to evade Windows 11 upgrade proposals, they will see a page outlining the benefits of upgrading to Windows 11, including a more user-friendly interface, enhanced security features, improved performance, and higher work efficiency. Microsoft also emphasized the gaming experience on Windows 11, claiming to provide the widest range of games and realistic graphics features.

The advertisement emphasizes that Windows 11 brings a new look and feel, with more efficient navigation and the ability to quickly complete more tasks. Users who choose to continue using Windows 10 can still upgrade to Windows 11 for free at any time through the Windows Update page in the settings.

Full screen advertising has emerged as part of Microsoft's strategy to promote Windows 11, presenting it as a seamless and easily accessible upgrade option for existing Windows 10 users.

If users want to reject the aggressive advertisement, they must find and click on the "Keep Windows 10" link at the bottom of the screen.
