On October 20th, Tencent Cloud and Dongguan jointly established the Songshan Lake Digital Economy Industrial Base (hereinafter referred to as the "Base"), with the first batch of 11 enterprises settling in. In the future, the base will fully leverage Tencent Cloud's leading technology and resource advantages in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other areas to assist local enterprises in Dongguan in digital upgrading and promote high-quality development of Dongguan's digital economy industry.

Dongguan is a world-renowned "factory" both domestically and internationally, leaving behind the beautiful talk of "Dongguan being congested and out of stock globally". Facing the new wave of global technological change, Dongguan has issued Document No. 1 for two consecutive years, emphasizing the need to take the manufacturing industry as the leader, focus on "technological innovation+advanced manufacturing", and promote the manufacturing industry to a new level of high-end, intelligent, and green development, providing strong support for Dongguan to build a strong science and technology innovation manufacturing city with international competitiveness.

Focusing on this goal, Tencent Cloud has established the Songshan Lake Digital Economy Industrial Base in Dongguan, relying on the advantages of connectivity, technology, ecology, and resources accumulated over the past 20 years. The base will mainly serve the local manufacturing industry in Dongguan, and will focus on the retail industry, consumer electronics, trendy entertainment, tourism, gaming e-commerce, and other fields to fully promote Dongguan's digital industrialization and industrial digital construction.

In the retail industry, the base will work together with Tencent Smart Retail to build a digital marketing platform based on Tencent's rich social ecosystem, and promote local retail enterprises to move towards full digital transformation. This includes providing digital consulting and services to assist Dongguan enterprises in building small program private domain shopping malls, and driving overall growth through public-private domain linkage. At the same time, the base will also use digital ecology as a starting point to attract more enterprises to settle in the park and promote the formation of a digital retail industry cluster in Dongguan.

In the direction of trendy entertainment and tourism, the base will introduce content resources such as Tencent QQ Music, QQ Literature, games, and esports, and establish deep cooperation with local trendy entertainment brands and cultural and tourism resources to comprehensively create and enhance Dongguan's IP awareness, attract more young people's attention, and thus explore a new pattern of Dongguan's trendy entertainment industry development.

In addition, in terms of game e-commerce, the base will introduce subsidies for digital innovation services and attract domestic game development, operation, and e-commerce enterprises to settle in Songshan Lake Wanhui Cloud Valley through the support of Tencent's game ecological resources, forming a scale effect of industrial agglomeration and promoting the accelerated development and innovation of Dongguan's game and e-commerce.

It is worth mentioning that Chengshi (Dongguan) Cultural Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Xiaotu Daojia Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Hongjing Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Huizhou Xindi Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong East Sunshine Health Sales Co., Ltd., Dongguan Yaoxian Information Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Hongfan Smart Technology Co., Ltd., Baosheng Group of the United States, and Zhongke Qizhi (Guangdong) E-commerce Co., Ltd The first batch of 11 enterprises, including Yingdong Lianmeng Cultural Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Jinggong Intelligent System Co., Ltd., signed contracts and announced their entry into the base on site.
