ColorOS15 is equipped with OPPO's self-developed seamless dual engine, restructuring the Android experience for enhanced fluency. It also introduces efficient and practical system-level AI, vibrant new design, and continuous improvements to user-friendly features.

Self-Developed Seamless Dual Engine Redefines the New High of Android Fluency

To address the fundamental issue of Android smoothness, ColorOS15 introduces a self-developed seamless dual engine "Aurora Engine" and "Tide Engine." The "Aurora Engine," acting as a system-level rendering and drawing architecture, achieves parallel rendering responses for multiple animations through the creation of the industry's first parallel drawing framework, maximizing the user's perception of smoothness. Additionally, the Aurora Engine incorporates system-level flexible rebound micro-animations, making the system experience more consistent with real-world physical feedback, ensuring every touch feels smooth and refined. The Aurora Engine extends system-level scrolling curves to cover WebView, ensuring third-party apps also enjoy a consistently comfortable scrolling experience.

To further validate the smooth experience, OPPO collaborated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Psychology to establish the "Five Zeros" experience standards for system fluency. In 20 applications with two rounds of open/close testing, ColorOS15 achieves 0 crashes, 0 jumps, 0 frame drops, 0 delays, and 0 missed touches.

The "Tide Engine" provides a chip-level performance solution, utilizing two core technologies the proprietary self-developed intelligent dynamic cache and the full-stack algorithm accelerator to ensure the chip's resource supply capabilities. The new "Tide Engine" delves into the chip's underlying layers, completely restructuring the chip cache's allocation mechanism. It intelligently allocates computing resources based on recognized usage scenarios, ensuring optimal performance supply and power consumption control even in complex user scenarios. Simultaneously, the Tide Engine, through the full-stack algorithm accelerator, offers more efficient parallel computing. It reconstructs and accelerates common algorithms within the Android software library, achieving up to a 3x increase in algorithm efficiency.

Through intelligent dynamic caching and parallel computing architecture, ColorOS15 delivers a 22% improvement in overall device fluency and a 12-minute increase in battery life, resulting in significant energy efficiency gains across various scenarios.

System-Level AI: Restructuring from the Core to Interactions

ColorOS15 introduces the new "Xiaobu Assistant," leveraging advanced system-level AI capabilities. It delves into the system's core layers, connecting proprietary applications and third-party apps. It naturally understands user intent and executes actions on behalf of the user, offering a simple, intuitive, and efficient way to resolve user problems.

In terms of interaction methods, the new Xiaobu Assistant introduces system-level interaction with "One-Click Ask Screen." This allows users to access AI one-stop service through simple voice dialogue and circle search. Xiaobu Assistant can comprehend both on-screen and off-screen content. Based on recognized content, it can quickly deliver accurate answers and suggestions, supports continuous follow-up questions, and even execute commands, like converting image file formats. ColorOS15 elevates the highly acclaimed "AI One-Click Removal" to a series of more practical and useful "One-Click AI Photo Editing" features, introducing "AI Anti-Reflection," "AI De-Ghosting," and "AI Super-Resolution." It also features a newly upgraded "AI Removal" function that automatically identifies pedestrians and eliminates them with exceptional accuracy.

In the realm of office and learning, ColorOS15 integrates a brand-new system-level AI note assistant into its sticky notes, providing AI features such as one-click intelligent formatting, AI polishing, and continuation writing.
