Redmi General Manager Wang Teng recently hinted at the use of a metal frame for the Redmi K80 series during an interaction with fans. Combining this with previous leaks, the appearance of the K80 series is now essentially confirmed. Specifically, the Redmi K80 series will include two models: K80 and K80 Pro. Both will feature a 2K straight screen with a centered punch-hole design. The frame will be made of metal with straight edges. The rear will house a circular camera module similar to the Xiaomi Civi4 Pro, located at the top left corner. This module will include a main camera, an ultra-wide angle lens, and a vertical telephoto lens, with support for OIS optical image stabilization.

In terms of core configuration, the Redmi K80 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This chipset is manufactured using TSMC's second-generation 3nm process node and features Qualcomm's self-developed Oryon architecture. It boasts 2 super-large cores and 6 large cores, with a super-large core frequency reaching 4.32GHz and 3.53GHz for the 6 large cores. Additionally, the Redmi K80 Pro will support ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint recognition.

Regarding pricing, Wang Teng stated that the Redmi K80 Pro will not leave any regrets in the 4000 yuan price bracket, implying that the device will cost around 4000 yuan. This will make it the most powerful high-end flagship in Redmi's history.
