In addition, recently, Baichuan Intelligent officially launched the 2024 campus recruitment and launched the "Star Shining Plan". This school recruitment will be aimed at students both domestically and internationally, covering multiple cities and universities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Baichuan Intelligent was founded on April 10, 2023, by former Sogou CEO Wang Xiaochuan. Its core team is composed of AI talents from companies such as Sogou, Google, Tencent, Baidu, Huawei, Microsoft, Byte, etc. At present, Baichuan Intelligent has a team size of over 170 people, with nearly 70% of employees holding master's or above degrees and over 80% of research and development personnel.

Only half a year after its establishment, Baichuan Intelligent has successively released four open source and free commercial models, Baihuan-7B/13B, Baihuan2-7B/13B, and two closed source models, Baihuan-53B and Baihuan2-53B. On average, a new big model is released every 28 days.

On August 31st, Baichuan Intelligent took the lead in filing through the national "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services". It is the only large model startup company among the first eight companies established this year, and opened the Baihuan2-53BAPI interface on September 25th, officially entering the ToB field and starting the commercialization process.
