Following the release of Samsung's new foldable phones, there has been a steady stream of leaks about upcoming S-series flagships. Recently, blogger @iIce Universe shared a set of rendered images of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, offering a glimpse of the upcoming device.

The renders reveal that the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra retains the rectangular design aesthetic and features a flat screen, a departure from the curved screen of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The bezels surrounding the screen are narrow, and the device is equipped with a stylus, further enhancing the user experience. Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra boasts a larger screen, a narrower body, and a significantly narrower titanium metal frame, which leaks describe as "Samsung's highest ever screen ratio." It is rumored that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also be thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, maintaining the same screen aspect ratio but with narrower bezels.

In terms of body design, news suggests that the new Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature an asymmetrical frame. The frame near the back will be more rounded, while the part closer to the screen will be flatter. This design not only offers a better grip but also allows the Galaxy S25 Ultra to have a narrower frame, similar in width to the Galaxy S24, resulting in a visually narrower bezel compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Beyond the exterior design, leaks indicate that Samsung's supply chain has begun producing components for the new S-series flagship. Recently, battery certification information for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has also surfaced. This certification document reveals two slightly different battery models: EB-BS938ABY and EB-BS938ABE. While the specific application of these two models remains unclear, reports suggest that the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a single battery design, unlike the Galaxy Z series foldables which use a dual-battery setup. Although the exact battery specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra are yet to be confirmed, leaks point towards a 5000mAh battery capacity with 45W fast charging for an optimal battery life and charging experience. Notably, the certification information reveals the battery supplier: Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL). Earlier, CATL also supplied batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Current information shows that CATL, Samsung SDI, and ELENTEC all supplied batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. However, it remains unclear whether the other two suppliers will continue to provide batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

Meanwhile, the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to feature an upgraded 16GB of RAM, offering higher storage capacity. As a reference, the Galaxy S24 Ultra released this year offered three storage options: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 12GB+1TB.

In terms of camera specifications, the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will sport a rear camera system consisting of a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens. Currently available Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with a rear camera setup of a 200MP wide-angle camera (2x optical zoom), a 50MP 5x optical zoom & 10x optical zoom camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP 3x optical zoom camera. Compared to the previous generation and current leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will upgrade the ultra-wide and 3x telephoto sensors.
