Redmi, the smartphone brand under Xiaomi, recently announced that its Note series has achieved 420 million units in global sales over the past decade. At the same time, the highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 series is set to be released this month. Today, the brand officially announced that the Redmi Note 14 series "will be released next week" with the tagline "New generation of tough phones, a major quality upgrade."

According to the official introduction, the Redmi Note 14 series will boast three key selling points: drop resistance, waterproofing, and service guarantee. Notably, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series has officially become the designated device of the Blue Sky Rescue team. Wang Teng, Deputy General Manager of Xiaomi China's Marketing Department and General Manager of the Redmi brand, stated: "Our collaboration with Blue Sky Rescue is a testament to Redmi's support for public welfare rescue efforts, and it is the first real-world test of our major quality upgrade for the tough phone series." He further emphasized: "We are honored that the Note 14 Pro series successfully passed the quality delivery requirements and became the official device of Blue Sky Rescue. This is a recognition of the tough phone's quality and a driving force for Redmi to continue upgrading its quality standards."

Besides the quality upgrade, the Redmi Note 14 series will also introduce a brand-new design aesthetic. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will feature a new color scheme, "Mirror Porcelain White." Official teasers claim: "Note 14 Pro+, the most elegant Note ever! Curved frame, four-curved back, comfortable one-handed grip; smooth and delicate like jade, every touch feels irresistible. The Redmi Note 14 Pro will be available in Phantom Blue and Twilight Purple, adopting a contrasting color design. The brand states: "Note 14 Pro, arguably the most elegant Note ever: Custom curvature, elegant arc, inheriting the essence of Pro+; Double-curved design, fitting the palm, comfortable one-handed grip."

According to blogger @DigitalChatStation, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will be equipped with a 50Mp OIS f/1.6 large-sensor main camera on the rear, and a newly added 60mm f/2.2 telephoto lens. With a plastic frame, it will also support IP68 dust and waterproof.

Similar to the previous generation's product planning, the Redmi Note 14 series will initially launch three models: the Redmi Note 14 standard edition, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+.

Performance-wise, the top-tier Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 processor. Built using TSMC's second-generation 4nm process, it features the second-generation Armv9 architecture, an eight-core CPU design comprising 23.0GHz Cortex-A715 large cores + 6Cortex-A510 small cores, and a Mali-G610MC4 GPU. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen3 processor.

For reference, the previous generation Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features a 6.67-inch second-generation 1.5K High-Light Eye Protection screen with 1800nit peak brightness, triple TV Rheinland Eye Protection certification, and support for 1920Hz PWM dimming. It is powered by the Dimensity 7200-Ultra processor, packs a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging, features a 16MP front camera, a 200MP main camera + 8MP ultrawide lens + 2MP macro lens combination on the rear, and supports IP68 dust and waterproof. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the second-generation Snapdragon 7s processor, packs a 5100mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging, and features the same screen and camera setup as the Pro+. The Redmi Note 13 incorporates a 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen with a resolution of 24001080, is powered by the Dimensity 6080 processor, packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, features a 16MP front camera, and a 100MP main camera + 2MP depth lens combination on the rear.
