After its launch nearly a year ago, ChatGPT is widely regarded as the fastest-growing consumer internet application in history, with approximately 100 million active users in just two months. However, the record of ChatGPT has been broken by Meta's Threads, which accumulated 100 million users less than a week after its launch in July. But in the months since then, the usage of Threads seems to have decreased. As of October, the monthly active users have been less than 100 million.
