While currently only images and video demonstrations are available, Transsion staff at the IFA 2024 in Berlin, Germany, revealed that the device will be showcased at MWC 2025. According to official information, the Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 employs a dual-hinge design, offering a 6.48-inch screen when folded, comparable to traditional straight-screen phones. Unfolded, the screen expands to 10 inches, rivaling a tablet. Both in form, folding mechanism, and size, this phone bears striking resemblance to Huawei's tri-fold.

The Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 also incorporates the latest TDDI technology, integrating the touch controller and display driver into a single chip, making the device thinner and lighter. In its folded state, it boasts a mere 11mm thickness.

The device supports hinge suspension, and Transsion has independently developed a tent mode. In tent mode, when facing each other, the two screens can translate in real-time, facilitating communication. Additionally, the Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 enables three apps to run concurrently, maximizing the large screen for enhanced productivity.
