Today, vivo officially announced that it will hold a new product launch event on October 14th, where the highly anticipated X200 series flagship smartphones will be officially unveiled. Recently, vivo's Vice President, Jia Jingdong, has been teasing the X200 series, hinting at a range of significant upgrades.

Self-Developed Imaging Chip, Further Elevating Imaging Capabilities

According to Jia Jingdong, the vivo X200 series will feature a self-developed Blue Map customized sensor and imaging chip. This will lead to notable advancements in image quality across night, portrait, telephoto, and video scenarios. This signifies vivo's further commitment to the imaging field, aiming to provide users with a more competitive photographic experience.

Powered by the Blue Heart Large Language Model, Smart Experiences Reach New Heights

Beyond imaging breakthroughs, the vivo X200 series will also be equipped with the Blue Heart Large Language Model, Blue Sea Battery System, and the upgraded "Blue Heart Xiaov" exclusive personal assistant. The inclusion of these features will further enhance the phone's intelligence level, delivering a more convenient and user-friendly experience.

Boosted by the Dimensity 9400 Processor, Powerful Performance

The vivo X200 series has obtained all three certifications and will be the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. This processor utilizes a full-large-core architecture with one 3.63GHz Cortex-X925 core, three 2.8GHz Cortex-X4 cores, and four 2.1GHz Cortex-A7 cores, integrated with the Mali-G925-ImmortalisMC12, resulting in exceptionally strong performance.

The Dimensity 9400 supports hardware-level ray tracing, boosting ray tracing performance by nearly 20% compared to its predecessor and achieving effects similar to PC-side OMM (Opacity MicroMap) technology. Moreover, the Dimensity 9400 delivers approximately 40% improvement in NPU computing power compared to its predecessor, over 30% enhancement in CPU single-core performance, and as much as 25% reduction in power consumption. These optimizations will further elevate the phone's overall performance level, providing a smoother control experience and more intelligent AI applications.

Slim and Light Design, Further Enhanced Battery Life

The vivo X200 series will primarily feature a glass body design and a large battery solution. It might employ the same glass fiber material as the vivo XFold3 to reduce weight and thickness. It is reported that the entire vivo X200 series will feature large battery solutions and potentially adopt a slim and light design, potentially leading to further improvements in battery life.

Screen Form Factor Upgrades, Delivering a More Immersive Visual Experience

This device boasts a large-base periscope camera with 200 million pixels and an upgraded screen form factor, featuring a four-narrow-border, equal-depth, quad-curved screen. It utilizes a BOE 6.82-inch 2K + 120Hz 8TLTPO display panel. Speculations suggest that this model might be the vivo X200 Ultra.

In addition to the Ultra version, the vivo X200 series will also include a standard version and a Pro version. The standard version will adopt a 6.4-6.5-inch 1.5K domestically customized four-narrow-border screen, offering black, white, blue, and pink color options.
