In the next several decades, we will be able to do many things that our grandparents would have considered magic. This phenomenon is not new, but it will accelerate like never before.

Over time, humans have significantly enhanced their capabilities, enabling us to accomplish tasks that would have been virtually impossible for our ancestors. This increase in capability wasnt due to genetic changes, but rather to the increasing intelligence of our social infrastructure. In a sense, society itself is a form of advanced intelligence.

Our grandparents, and the generations before them, laid the foundations for human progress, building great things that ultimately benefit everyone. AI will provide us with tools to solve complex problems and add new pillars to that foundation. The story of progress will continue, and future children will achieve things we cant even imagine.

These goals wont be achieved overnight, but we are on the verge of collaborating with AI to achieve things we couldnt do alone. Eventually, everyone will have their own AI team, composed of virtual experts in different fields, working together to create almost anything we can imagine.

Our children will have virtual tutors who can personalize their education, teaching them any subject in any language and catering to their needs. This potential will also apply to improving healthcare, building software, and countless other areas. With these new capabilities, we will see unimaginable shared prosperity. The future will be a world where everyones quality of life will exceed anything we have today.

While prosperity doesnt necessarily equal happiness after all, there are many wealthy people who still suffer it will significantly improve standards of living worldwide. Looking at human history from a narrow perspective, over thousands of years of scientific discovery and technological advancements, we learned to melt sand, mix in impurities, and arrange those materials with incredible precision on an incredibly tiny scale to create computer chips. We then ran energy through those chips, ultimately creating increasingly powerful AI systems. This might be one of the most consequential facts in history.

Superintelligence may occur within thousands of days, though it may take much longer, but I believe we will eventually get there.
