OnePlus officially announced today that its upcoming flagship model, the OnePlus 13, will feature a "Glacier Battery" with a massive 6000mAh capacity. It adopts a new generation of silicon-carbon negative electrode battery technology, achieving a breakthrough in smaller size and larger capacity. This technology is not exclusive to OnePlus. Its previously launched "Glacier Battery" in collaboration with CATL has already caused a sensation in the industry, with a leading 6100mAh capacity. Compared to the traditional 5000mAh graphite battery, OnePlus Glacier Battery increases capacity by 1100mAh while reducing volume by 3%.

The OnePlus Glacier Battery's advantage lies in its unique "high-capacity bionic silicon-carbon material" technology. Through self-developed "low-expansion second-generation silicon" material, it achieves an industry-leading 6% negative electrode silicon-carbon content. Moreover, the silicon-carbon negative electrode's specific capacity reaches 426mAh/g, a 20% increase compared to the 355mAh/g of ordinary graphite battery negative electrodes. Its energy density even reaches 763Wh/L.
