On June 4th, IT Home reported that according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple plans to provide some developers and attendees with the opportunity to try out the new AR/VR head display at the upcoming 2023 WWDC event, which will be officially released at the event.

According to reports, Apple has built a new "structure" within ApplePark to provide a controlled on-site experience for headsets. The testing area is located near the basketball court in ApplePark, near the employee fitness center. During the event, Apple will invite media and some developers to try on the headsets on-site, and this area will be used for on-site experience throughout the summer. Apple may continue to invite developers to test headsets in Apple Park for application development. There will also be a live experience area inside the Steve Jobs Theater to showcase hardware products.

The on-site experience will showcase Apple's FaceTimeVR, AppleTV+content, and gaming features. IT Home has previously reported that for users with specific symptoms such as migraine, dizziness, post concussion syndrome, and past brain injuries, Apple will remind them not to use the head display.

If the on-site experience is similar to the previous event, developers and media professionals will be able to try out the headsets immediately after the keynote speech, and Apple employees will provide a brief controlled demonstration.

The Apple AR/VR head display will not be available immediately after the release of WWDC, and it will take several months to officially launch. At present, large-scale production has not started yet, and the latest news shows that it will be launched before December.
