The ChatGPT model launched by OpenAI has sparked a craze for LLM, and companies of all sizes are vying to utilize these models to develop functionality. This is the first time that Microsoft introduced GPT technology into AzureGovernment, which provides cloud solutions for U.S. government agencies and is the first large company to provide Chatbot technology to the government. It is reported that the US Department of Defense, the United States Department of Energy and NASA are all government customers of AzureGovernment service.

Officials from the Defense Technology Information Center (DTIC) under the US Department of Defense have confirmed that they will experiment with the OpenAI model through Microsoft's new product. This information center focuses on collecting and sharing military research results.

IT Home previously reported that Microsoft has provided GPT technology to Azure commercial cloud users through Azure OpenAI Services, and as of May, the service has 4500 customers. Microsoft stated that government clients can adjust language models based on specific tasks, including content generation, language to code conversion, and abstract generation.
