After the user clicks on the PWA application link, a new tab will no longer pop up, but the corresponding PWA application window will be called up for the user to browse directly.
Browser enthusiast @ Leopeva64 shared this adjustment on X (Twitter) today. Canary Chrome browser users can experience this feature by enabling the # enable user link capturing pwa experimental flag.
To enable LinkCapturing for PWA applications, users first open PWA from their browser and choose to remember their selections. Users can also enable LinkCapturing for the specified PWA application on the application management settings page.
IT Home Note: Microsoft Edge Browser v97 version has already launched this feature, and Chrome is now following up on this feature.
