On October 20th, NetEase Technology reported that Zhipu AI announced that it has received over 2.5 billion yuan of financing this year. The main participants include the social security fund Zhongguancun Independent Innovation Fund (with Junlian Capital as the fund manager), Meituan, Ant, Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi, Jinshan, Shunwei, Boss Direct Hire, TAL, Sequoia, Hillhouse, and other institutions, as well as some old shareholders including Junlian Capital, who have joined in, with Huaxing serving as the exclusive financial advisor.
The reporter learned that the above financing will be used for further research and development of the base large model, better supporting the industry ecology, and developing rapidly with partners.
