Apple stated at this year's Global Developers Conference that the new MacPro uses an M2Ultra processor, which has a processing speed three times faster than the high-end MacPro equipped with Intel chips. This marks that all Apple Mac products have adopted self-developed chips. Jennifer Munn, Director of Engineering Project Management, stated at the meeting that the M2Ultra is "a chip monster".
