SH) released a report for the third quarter of 2023, which showed that Yonghui achieved a revenue of 62.088 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2023; The net profit attributable to the parent company was 52 million yuan, an increase of 939 million yuan year-on-year, achieving a turnaround from losses to profits; The gross profit margin was 16.29%, an increase of 1.74 percentage points year-on-year; The weighted average return on equity increased by 9.43 percentage points to 0.70%.

According to the financial report, in the first nine months of this year, thanks to the orderly promotion of digitization, cost reduction and efficiency improvement measures, Yonghui's expenses decreased by 960 million yuan compared to the same period last year, and its operational efficiency improved significantly.

In terms of online business, Yonghui accelerated the promotion of the "warehouse store integration" model during the reporting period, further optimizing and upgrading the performance efficiency and service experience of the last mile delivery of home business. Thanks to this, in the first three quarters of 2023, the company's online business contributed revenue of 12.26 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.69%, accounting for 19.75% of the total revenue.

In terms of offline store optimization, as of early August this year, nearly 70% of Yonghui's first planned nearly 300 stores to be optimized have been completed, with some of its new stores experiencing a nearly 10% increase in customer traffic in the second quarter compared to the previous quarter. It is worth mentioning that during the process of store optimization, Yonghui has fully added "genuine discount stores" and synchronized the online app/mini program to add discount zones.

In addition to actively conducting store optimization, in the first three quarters of this year, Yonghui opened 5 new stores and reserved over 100 signed but unopened stores, providing resources for high-quality new store opening in the future. It is revealed that in the fourth quarter of this year, Yonghui is expected to have nearly 10 new stores open, and the planned new stores and future stores to be opened within the year are all optimized new store models that adopt refined management.
