On October 17th, JD Express announced a comprehensive upgrade of its express delivery services to Hong Kong and Macau. By opening multiple express operation centers in Hong Kong and Macau, it aims to optimize the entire process of self operation and picking, providing local express delivery, Hong Kong Macau mutual shipping, and Hong Kong Macau to mainland mutual shipping and door-to-door delivery services for Hong Kong and Macau users. Among them, Hong Kong local express delivery can achieve a maximum of 4 hours of delivery, and the night delivery time will also be extended to 22:00 at the latest, upgrading the delivery experience for Hong Kong and Macao users.

It is reported that the comprehensive upgrade of JD Express services in Hong Kong has achieved a fully self operated operation mode by opening a new express delivery operation center. At the same time, in order to further shorten the transfer process, JD Express integrates sorting centers and delivery stations in each operating center in Hong Kong, equipped with numerous semi-automatic operating equipment to improve transfer efficiency. The entire process can be completed in up to 4 hours. In Macau, local express delivery also achieves the fastest morning delivery.

In addition to faster delivery time, JD Express also brings high standard services such as door-to-door delivery and night delivery from mainland China to Hong Kong. The delivery time is extended to 22:00 at the latest, providing personalized delivery services for users who are unable to receive goods during the day. In addition, JD Express is also promoting "smiling faces" in Hong Kong and Macau, using technological means to replace some personal information such as phone numbers with smiling faces, effectively protecting user privacy.
