The collection of leading technological achievements and practical cases for the World Internet Conference covers five major fields

On May 23rd, NetEase Technology reported that the International Organization of the World Internet Conference held a promotional event and member activity day in Beijing today to collect and promote leading technological achievements and practical cases of "Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace" in 2023.

The meeting was chaired by Liang Hao, Executive Deputy Secretary General of the World Internet Conference. He stated that this year marks the tenth anniversary of the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference, and the application for leading technological achievements has undergone a new upgrade, distinguishing for the first time three different types of achievements: basic research, key technology, and engineering research and development. The practice case collection activity covers global practices in five areas: "network infrastructure construction", "online cultural exchange", "innovative development of digital economy", "network security guarantee", and "international governance of cyberspace".

According to the Secretariat of the World Internet Conference, the 2023 Leading Science and Technology Achievements and Practice Case Activities are solicited from government departments, international organizations, social organizations, research institutions, universities, technology communities, enterprises, and innovation teams worldwide.

It is understood that the solicitation activity will end on June 21st, and after that, a review committee composed of internationally renowned experts will select leading scientific and technological achievements and their inclusion list based on the principles of fairness, impartiality, objectivity, and authority. The magazine "Charm of Science and Technology" will include annual high-quality cases and related information. The selected individuals and units will be invited to participate in the 2023 World Internet Leading Technology Achievement Exhibition and Practice Case Release Exhibition, and will conduct diversified, multi-dimensional, and comprehensive publicity through media platforms such as the official website of the World Internet Congress.
