Song Yue, chairman of 3GPPCT4, said that the key issues of 5G-A defined by 3GPPR18 include the enhancement of network capabilities such as support for new services such as XR and new calls, industrial interconnection, multi service diversion and low delay high-precision positioning, as well as edge computing and multicast broadcasting, network intelligence, RedCap and satellite access. The potential research topics for R19 include synesthesia fusion, A-IOT, and XR. 5G-A plays a connecting role and has a certain directional role in the evolution from 5G to 6G.

Ma Liang, Vice President of Huawei Cloud Core Network Product Line, stated that based on polymorphic connectivity and three-dimensional fully interconnected networking, through topology intelligence, experience intelligence, and business intelligence, new videos, connections, and calls can be enabled to build a 5.5GCore target network with full business capabilities for operators.
