On October 31st, IT Home reported that the Hong Kong Patent Office in China announced 27 design patents related to Apple's VisionPro head display last Friday,Involving over 216 overall designs and various components, ensuring that all components are legally protected.

IT Home Note: Apple's current application is for a design patent and does not provide any other key details of the design. It only provides a detailed introduction to the CAD design drawings based on the VisionPro head display, as well as information on multiple components.

VisionPro looks like a pair of ski goggles, controlled by eyes, gestures, and voice. The head display has a glass front panel and an aluminum frame, including sensors, cameras, display screens, and computing components cooled by fans.

The head display mask and strap are designed with fabric lining and modular design, and Apple has stated that they can be bent to adapt to various face and head shapes.

The threaded headband can be replaced in different sizes and styles. Apple collaborates with Zeiss to produce prescription lenses that can be magnetically attached to the display screen, making it easy for nearsighted individuals to use the headband.

There is an external battery that can provide 2 hours of battery life and can be connected through a "soft braided cable", so it can be put into a pocket when in use. Apple claims that its display screen will be unprecedentedly clear, featuring a micro OLED screen with 23 million pixels and a monocular resolution of over 4K.

VisionPro is an AR device, but it can also switch between augmented reality and full virtual reality (VR) through a knob. Users do not need to use a joystick to control, just browse application icons by staring, tap to select, swipe to scroll, or issue voice commands.

The device adopts a brand new operating system with a 3D interface. The application experience in VisionPro is not limited by the boundaries of the display, and users can enlarge the application to any size and place it in any desired position.
