Apple will hold its annual Apple Special Event on September 10th, where the all-new iPhone 16 series will be officially unveiled. It is said that the iPhone 16 series will continue the lineup of its predecessor, offering four versions: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Recently, a video surfaced online, previewing the copper-colored iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. The video transitions from the texture of a cup of coffee to the copper-colored iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max camera units, showcasing not only the new color of the models but also hinting at the introduction of a new macro feature on these two flagship phones.

According to leaks, copper is the new color being introduced this year, replacing the blue color on the iPhone 15 Pro series. The overall effect is similar to the champagne gold of the iPhone 5s/6 series, but with a deeper tone.

In terms of design, the iPhone 16 Pro series continues the existing product design philosophy with a rectangular rear camera module. The module houses a triple-camera setup arranged in a triangular symmetrical pattern, with the flash component also placed within the module. Notably, a new dedicated camera button is added to the bottom right side of the device.

This newly added button will be used for taking photos, capable of recognizing the varying pressure of user presses. It will then adjust the zoom in or out, take pictures, or focus based on the different pressure levels applied.

Furthermore, the screen sizes of the Pro models will be slightly larger. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a screen size of 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will boast a screen size of 6.9 inches.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to be available in five colors: blue, green, white, black, and pink. These two models still feature a dual-camera setup at the back, but the lens components and flash position have been adjusted. The two rear cameras are arranged vertically, and the rectangular camera module has been removed, replaced by a "pill-shaped" design. This design visually reduces the area occupied by the rear camera, creating a cleaner look and differentiating it from previous generations.

Besides appearance information, numerous leaks regarding the configuration of the iPhone 16 series have also emerged. In terms of performance, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to be powered by the A18 chip, while the Pro models might be equipped with a chip named "A18 Pro," boasting more cores and potentially delivering enhanced AI and machine learning capabilities. Meanwhile, all iPhone 16 models will come with 8GB of RAM to meet the demands of running AppleIntelligence functions.

In terms of imaging, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus utilize a wide-angle main camera and an ultra-wide-angle lens combination. The main camera remains a 48MP sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and 2x optical zoom. The ultra-wide-angle lens has undergone a change, with the aperture increasing from the previous f/2.4 to a wider f/2.2.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max feature a wide-angle main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens combination. The main camera remains a 48MP sensor with an f/1.78 aperture and the ability to capture 12MP telephoto photos with 2x optical quality. The telephoto lens has been adjusted, and unlike previous models, both models now come equipped with a 5x telephoto camera. The telephoto lens also has 12MP resolution with an f/2.8 aperture. The ultra-wide-angle lens is upgraded to 48MP and features the same pixel binning technology as the main camera.

In terms of battery charging, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 3355mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 4676mAh battery, supporting 40W wired fast charging and 20W MagSafe charging.
