IT Home reported on May 23rd that Windows 11 users will receive the latest feature update. After months of testing in the Windows Insider program, the Windows 11 "Moment3" update is ready for public release tomorrow.
This feature update does not have an official name yet (Microsoft no longer seems to like strange names like "FallCreatorsUpdate"), but it is referred to as "Moment3" by the outside world. Although this update is not the largest one, it still contains some good improvements and new features. The following are highlights: taskbar and notification improvements: the new virtual private network indicator and the button to copy 2FA code from notification. Added real-time kernel memory dump function in task manager. Improved Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC) to extend the battery life of laptops or tablets. Multi task improvement, now pressing Alt+Tab can display more Edge tabs. Change one of the oldest screenshot methods. Improved auxiliary functions make the operating system more convenient for people with limited physical conditions to use. Multiple repairs and minor adjustments to various aspects of the operating system. IT Home needs to point out that this update will be released as an optional update, so users need to go to Settings> Check for available updates in Windows updates and install this version. Microsoft will push the "Moment3" update to all users on June 13, 2023 or the next patch Tuesday. In addition, Microsoft also announced some exciting features of the upcoming Windows 11. It is expected that the 23H2 version released in the second half of this year will bring native RGB control, non grouping taskbar with labels, improved application backup and recovery, and so on.
