On June 5th, IT Home reported that on June 3rd, the Low Altitude Economic Investment Promotion Conference and Industry Development Forum in Nanshan District, Shenzhen were held in Qiuxiange, Shenzhen Talent Park. In this event, an electric vertical manned flying saucer developed by Shenzhen UFO Technology Co., Ltd. attracted the attention of many citizens. This is also the world's first electric vertical manned flying saucer, which can take off and land on water and has amphibious functions. Currently, it is mainly used for sightseeing, tourism, and advertising performances.
It is reported that the core R&D team of this flying saucer comes from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Northwest University of Technology. After more than three years of effort, this innovative product has been created. The flying saucer adopts a six hole culvert with 12 blade motor structures, achieving triple safety redundancy from multiple aspects such as power supply, power motor, and flight control. The flying time of a UFO can reach 15 minutes, with a flying altitude of 200 meters and a maximum horizontal flight speed of 50 kilometers per hour. It can also flexibly switch between automatic and manual modes. This product has obtained a global invention patent.
