On May 29th, IT Home reported that a new report from JPMorgan Chase shows that chip design company Nvidia will benefit greatly from the growth of artificial intelligence. Nvidia released its eye-catching financial report for the first quarter of 2024 earlier this week, with its current quarter revenue forecast far exceeding analysts' expectations.

On this basis, JPMorgan Chase has made some new predictions that Nvidia will gain a 60% share in the artificial intelligence product market this year, mainly from its graphics processors (GPUs) and network interconnection products. And in second place is Botong, whose dedicated integrated circuits (ASICs) are expected to account for 13% of its revenue share. TSMC ranks 17th with a revenue share of 3%.

IT Home noticed that Intel and AMD also appear on the list, but their revenue percentage can be ignored, below 1%. Intel is expected to provide artificial intelligence server CPUs, while AMD is expected to provide server CPUs and GPUs.

On the other hand, in the cloud computing market, KeyBanc's data shows that AMD continues to lead Intel in cloud instance growth, but still lags far behind Intel in market share. According to its data, AMD's market share increased by a staggering 77% year-on-year in April, with a month on month increase of 3%. In contrast, Intel's monthly growth was flat, while its annual growth was relatively moderate at 13%. Driven by Ampere products, NVIDIA's market share increased by 28% year-on-year and 4% month on month.

Despite AMD's strong growth in market share, Intel remains the dominant player in the cloud market, with the company occupying over half of the market share, while AMD remains in second place and NVIDIA in distant third place. KeyBanc is also quite optimistic about AMD's data center prospects this year. Its analyst report released earlier this year outlined that the company may grow by 8 percentage points in the server market this year and is expected to reach 30% market share by the end of this year.
